Bob Conroy Benefit

On the morning of June 10, 2007 a relatively healthy, middle aged man collapsed when getting out of bed. Several hours later he was found unconscious by his son who called 911. With the quick response from the Cincinnati EMS and medical staff at Good Samaritan hospital, the life of Bob Conroy was saved.
Since suffering a stroke that fateful morning, Bob has endured 51 days in Good Sam that included speech, occupational and physical therapy, and two neurosurgeries. The therapy will continue indefinitely on an outpatient basis helping Bob to overcome his left side paralysis and cognitive functioning.
Because Bob is a small business owner, his medical insurance is minimal. He is unable to work for at least one year resulting in the indefinite closure of his business. Needless to say, his medical bills exceed half a million dollars with continual expenses for therapy, prescription medicine, and daily living. Unfortunately, Bob has been denied Medicaid and Social Security. He is disabled for at least one year, terminating his income.
Bob Conroy is a wonderful father and friend to many. Throughout Bob’s life he has supported his alma mater, Elder High School, local grade schools, and many other community events. Because of the insurmountable bills and future needs, Bob’s friends are asking area families and businesses to donate anything that they can to help make the Bob Conroy Benefit a success. Any kind of monetary, gift certificate or gift donation will be greatly appreciated. No donation is too small!
